What are your recommended washing instructions

To keep you Blake Mill shirts looking and feeling great for as long as possible, wash in warm water at a temperature no higher than 100 °F. We recommend 85 °F if there are no significant marks. Use a colour-safe, non-bleach detergent, then hang up to line dry (no tumble dryer please). All of this and more is included on the care label in each shirt.

How do your sizes compare?

Tough question! We like to describe our shirts as having a “tailored fit”. This means they’re nowhere near as narrow as a slim or skinny fit, but have enough shape to them that they won’t billow around you like a sail. This is similar to what you’ll find with brands such as Eton, or Gant.

Finally, please remember that if you find your shirt doesn’t fit, you can return it to us, free of charge, no questions asked for a full refund or in exchange for another size.

Where do you make your shirts?

Fashion has an appalling reputation when it comes to manufacturing: child labour, third world exploitation, factories collapsing on worker’s heads. Making garments cheaply comes at an incredible price.

We didn’t want anything to do with it. So we make most of our shirts in Benin with the incredibly decent people at Ethical Apparel Africa. The workers are properly paid, trained, work in safe, uncrowded conditions, and are all enrolled in worker empowerment programs.

The remainder of our shirts are made by our good friend Kamil in Turkey, in a small, family run factory. And again, his people are well paid, treated with respect, and work in decent conditions. No exploitation. Promise.

What happens if I’m not happy?

No quibble refunds mean exactly that. Maybe you don’t like the colour, the size, or the fit. Maybe you just didn’t like our box. It doesn’t matter, all items returned to us in a saleable condition will result in a full refund.

Can I change my order?

Of course you can! We aim to ship all orders placed before 12 noon on that same day (Monday to Friday). As long as your box hasn’t left the building, we’ll make whatever adjustments you like. We recommend giving us a call as soon as you can on 1 800 568 9684 to let us know what you need.

How quickly will you dispatch my order?

We aim to ship all orders placed before 12 noon on that same day (Monday to Friday). After that, items will be dispatched on the next working day.

How long will the shipping take?

We aim to get your order delivered within 7 business days. If you need any special arrangements, such as a Saturday delivery, please get in touch by phone on 1 800 568 9684 and we’ll do our best to help.

How do I use this voucher code?

Once you reach our checkout page, discount codes of any type can be entered in the box labelled “Discount” on the right hand side. Once you’ve typed it in, just press the “Apply” button to see the discount applied to your total.

What is your policy on returns?

The most important thing to us is that you are happy with your Blake Mill shirt. If that is not the case, for any reason, we will offer a full refund. Don’t like the colour? Send it back. Don’t like the fit? Send it back! Just get in touch with us by phone on 1 800 568 9684, or you can send us an email at info@blakemill.com and we’ll supply you with a free returns label. All garments returned to us in a saleable condition will result in an immediate refund.

I want a refund or exchange for my item, how do I do that?

We’re sorry to hear that, hopefully we can do better next time. All garments returned to us in a saleable condition will result i n an immediate refund.

How long will my refund or exchange take?

A returned item will take up to 7 business days to reach us. Once it does, we will process your refund or send out a replacement on the same working day.
